Spring promotional pricing was set to end March 31: what’s left now

Broadband Breakfast reported in March 2026 a six-month promotional price on Starlink's 100 Mbps home plan in select US areas, available until Mar 31. Starlink's address-free order data now shows no promotion. Promo prices still appear automatically by address.

Reported, not confirmedPart of this post rests on third-party reporting we couldn’t confirm on a Starlink page. Those parts are labelled. We re-check Starlink’s pages weekly.

Timeline: March 4, 2026, a six-month promotional price on the 100 Mbps plan is reported in select areas, running until March 31. October 6, 2026, Starlink's address-free order data shows no promotion. A note reads: promotional prices appear by address, never by code.

The short version

What changed?
Broadband Breakfast reported on Mar 4, 2026 that Starlink was offering its Residential 100 Mbps plan at a reduced monthly price for six months in select regions, with lower prices on the 200 Mbps and Max plans, and that the promotion was available until Mar 31.
When did it change?
Reported Mar 4, 2026, with a stated end date of Mar 31, 2026. On Oct 6, 2026, Starlink's address-free Residential order data showed no promotional end date and no reduced price on any plan.
Who is affected?
New US customers in the select regions where the promotion was offered. Customers who signed up during it keep the promotional price for its fixed period unless they change plan, cancel or are suspended.
What should you do now?
Enter your address on starlink.com. If a promotional price applies to you now, it will show there. Ignore "spring promo codes": Starlink's promotional pricing has never needed one.
What stays the same?
Starlink's Promotional Service Pricing terms still say discounted pricing appears when you place your order, for new customers in select areas, with no commitment and no code.

What was reported

On Mar 4, 2026, Broadband Breakfast reported a promotion on Starlink’s US home plans. Residential 100 Mbps was offered at $39 a month for the first six months instead of $50, with Residential 200 Mbps at $69 and Residential Max at $109. The report said the promotion covered select regions and was “available until March 31”. It also said some areas carried extra one-time charges, citing up to $1,500 in places such as Seattle and Sacramento.

We couldn’t find the promotion or its end date on a Starlink page we can read today, so this post carries the Reported, not confirmed label. It’s also Background, since the report is more than 90 days old.

Starlink’s help article Promotional Service Pricing Terms of Service sets out how promotions like this work:

  • In select areas, new customers can get a discounted price for a fixed period, for example 6 or 12 months, on Residential or Roam.
  • The period starts at activation, or 7 days after delivery, whichever comes first. Then the price returns to standard.
  • You see it when you order. If a discounted price is available for your area, it appears on starlink.com at checkout.
  • No commitment. New customers only. One service line.
  • Changing plan, cancelling or being suspended ends the promotional price.

Starlink’s help article on price adjustments adds that customers on promotional pricing keep it until the period ends, even when standard prices rise. See our plan price post.

What the data shows now

On Oct 6, 2026, the plan data starlink.com/residential loads with no address entered listed Residential 100 Mbps, 200 Mbps and Max with no promotional end date and an adjusted price equal to the standard price. That suggests no nationwide promotion is running. It doesn’t rule out a promotion at your address, which only shows once you enter it.

What it means if you’re looking for a code

Promotions are the most common reason people think a code exists. Someone sees a lower price, a friend at another address doesn’t, and a “promo code” seems like the explanation. Starlink’s own text says otherwise. Promotional pricing is shown, not typed, and it depends on area and timing. Our promo code guide covers this in full, and our myths page lists the variations.

What you can check now

  1. Enter your exact address on starlink.com and read each plan’s price and any end date shown.
  2. If you signed up during a promotion, check Billing → Preview invoice before changing plans. A change ends the promotional price.
  3. Our FAQ covers when the referral free month lands on your bill.

What stays the same

There’s no code box. Promotional pricing, where offered, still appears automatically. The referral free month still comes only through a link.

What we don’t know yet

  • We couldn't confirm the Mar 31 end date on a Starlink page. It comes from the report (checked 2026-10-06).
  • Starlink's address-free data can't show whether a promotion is running at a particular address today.
