Starlink promo code, coupon or discount code: the honest answer

You searched for a code that knocks money off Starlink. We read Starlink’s own help pages on discounts to find one. Here’s what we found, and the savings that need no code at all.

The short answer (October 2026)

There’s no public Starlink promo code, coupon or discount code in the US.

None of Starlink's help-center text on discounts asks you to type a promo code; discounts either appear on their own at checkout for your address or come from a referral link Our reading. The only discount you can choose yourself is a referral link’s free month, and that’s for brand-new customers only.

Why the codes you find online do nothing

  • Coupon and deals sites build pages for thousands of shops, often automatically. A Starlink page there can list “codes”, but none of them has anywhere to go: checkout has no box.
  • “Promo codes” that are really referral codes. Some posts call a customer’s RC- code a promo code. It isn’t a discount on the kit. It’s one free month of service, and it only works inside that customer’s link. Code vs link.
  • Old offers still in search results. The old 12-month plan with a no-cost kit is discontinued for new activations. Articles from before that change still turn up.

Discounts that do exist (none needs a code)

1. Promotional service pricing, if your address gets it

In select areas, new customers see a discounted monthly price for a fixed period, shown automatically when they order on starlink.com. You don’t need to do anything to get it. Enter your address on starlink.com and it’s either there or it isn’t. Keep in mind: changing plan, cancelling or being suspended ends promotional pricing.

2. The referral free month, if you’ve never had Starlink

One free month of service on the eligible plan you choose. You pay the first month; the credit comes off your second bill. It only works through a customer’s link, for people who have never had Starlink, on orders placed directly on starlink.com.

3. Regional Savings: not in the US right now

Starlink's "Regional Savings" article lists only one eligible area, Mexico; no US area is listed. If that changes, it will apply by address, not by code.

What the free month is worth, plan by plan

The credit covers one month of the plan you pick, so it’s worth that plan’s monthly price. These are Starlink’s US list prices with no address entered. Your address can show a different price.

US monthly list prices, read
PlanMonthly list priceSo the free month is worth
Residential 100 Mbps Select areas only$55/mo$55
Residential 200 Mbps Select areas only$85/mo$85
Residential Max$130/mo$130
Roam 100GB$55/mo$55
Roam 300GB$80/mo$80
Roam Unlimited$175/mo$175

What no code can change

  • Demand surcharge. In high-demand areas a one-time demand surcharge can apply, set by your address and plan. Nothing in Starlink’s text says a code removes it.
  • Store kits. The kit and plan must be bought directly on starlink.com; stores, unauthorized resellers and private transfers don't count, so a store sale and the referral month can’t be combined.
  • Returning customers. You are not, and have never been, a Starlink subscriber.
Not a discount, but it lowers the risk

A kit bought on starlink.com can go back within 30 days of the payment due date for a full refund, including the first month's fee. If service doesn’t work well where you live, that’s your way out.
